Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Ombre Powder, Combo, and Nano Brows?

Ombre Powder Brows create a soft-shaded makeup effect, perfect for those who love a more filled-in brow. Combo Brows blend micro hair strokes at the front of the brows with shading to the body and tail of the brow for a natural yet defined look. Nano Brows use ultra-fine, machine-drawn strokes for the most delicate and realistic hair-like finish. We’ll help you choose the best technique based on your skin type and brow goals!

Is Permanent Makeup safe?

Yes! At Tha Beauté Hub, your safety is our top priority. We are trained to strictly follow OSHA health and safety guidelines and use only high-quality, sterile, disposable tools. Every procedure is performed in a clean and professional environment.

How long does Permanent Makeup last?

Results vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare, but generally, brows last between 1-3 years. We recommend annual touch-ups to keep them looking fresh and defined.

Does the procedure hurt?

Most clients report little to no discomfort and often sleeps through the session. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure and secondary numbing is applied during the entire session to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but we do everything we can to keep you relaxed throughout.

What is the healing process like?

Healing takes about 7-14 days initially, with full results visible in 4-6 weeks. You may experience mild flaking, scabbing, or itching—this is completely normal. Aftercare instructions and kit will be provided to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results.

Can I get Henna Brows or Brow Lamination instead of Permanent Makeup?

Absolutely! Henna Brows are a great non-invasive option that tint both the skin and brow hairs, while Brow Lamination gives your brows a lifted, fuller appearance. These are perfect for clients looking for temporary enhancements or to try a new look before committing to permanent options.

What is the Halal Brow Technique?

Halal Brow Bleaching is a technique designed to lighten the extra hairs around your brows to make them blend seamlessly with your skin tone. Instead of removing hairs (which is prohibited in Islam), this method makes those extra hairs “invisible” by lightening their colour. It’s an ideal alternative for women who want to enhance their brows without compromising their faith.

How Does Halal Brows Work?

Here’s the step-by-step process:

  • Preparation: The skin and brow area are cleansed and protected to ensure a smooth and safe application.

  • Mapping: We define a shape that follow her natural shape to decide which hairs are bleach and those who don't.

  • Bleach Application: A professional-grade bleaching paste is applied to the fine hairs around the brows.

  • Processing Time: The bleach is left on for some minutes to lighten the hairs (don’t worry, this step is completely safe and painless when done correctly).

  • Rinse and Reveal: The bleach is gently removed, leaving the hairs visibly lighter and blended into the skin.

  • Enhancements: To perfect the look, additional halal techniques like brow dye can be applied.
